"All They Need Is a Visit or an Invitation"

Elder Moe & Albrechtsen
Feb 4, 2019

Yes! I do have a lot more stories being out here in Jose C Paz! It is awesome. Sometimes I just find myself looking around at the surroundings and just thinking, "Wow, I’m on my mission!" hahahaha I love it.

There is a part in our huge area that is super far out where Elder Albrechtsen had never been before. The very end of our area (la rey cucha), and I wanted to go there to check it out. We arrived at Barrio Kishner and there was a big field just full of trash, it was wild.  As we were leaving the area that night, they were burning all of it. It smelt really bad and I’m sure the liberals of the US would have been a little upset because the ozone doesn’t exist here anymore, but it was crazy cool to watch at night.

In this very far out part of our area, every member of the church is inactive. There is not one active member... The first member we found was Alvaro (name changed). He got baptized in 2016 and had gone inactive about 6 months ago. He left with us to visit a few other members who still have strong testimonies but just need a little push to get back to church. The missionaries had not come to this area of JCP for almost 7 or 8 months. We found a family who has a son who is not baptized and the father is not a member, and the mom exclaimed how badly she wants to come back to church and how the happiest moments in her life was when she was an active member in her callings. All she needed was a visit or an invitation to push her to come back. Once they receive the divorcement paper (for the previous spouse) back, they are going to get married and the husband wants to get baptized as well.

We are reading the BOM in two transfers!!! It is awesome! We started this transfer and we are gonna finish in April I think. I absolutely love it. The Book of Mormon is so fun to read, I have never loved it more in my life.

I have more stories to send next week, sorry I ran out of time today. I had a few guys from the CCM write me and I wanted to wright them back.

Love you family
