This week was really awesome! We were able to find two new investigators on Monday named Emilia and Pablo (names changed)! We had a great first lesson and they accepted a baptismal date of Feb 9th!
Elias (named changed) is still progressing very well, he is super prepared for his baptism on the 2nd of February. We are going to plan his interview for this week. And the best news of all is that all three of them came to church this Sunday!! It was amazing and the members did an amazing job of talking and hermanaring (fellowshipping) them.
I was praying so so so hard that all three of them would be able to make it to church; sometimes we pass by their house and walk with investigators to church but we decided we would see if they would come. They all came!! Then Sunday night we had a mini "noche de hogar" (Family Home Evening) with Santiago Mejia ( who just got back from a month and a half of vacations) and it was super good.
Elias is so so prepared and it has been awesome because he has been able to see all the changes and blessings that are coming in his life as he has tried to keep the commandments and read the Book of Mormon every day.
We did divisions with the zls (Zone Leaders) in Chacarita again this week and that was fun. Elder Simmonds told me, "Habra muchos muchos cambios en la zona este translado" (There are going to be very very many changes in the zone this transfer) so I have no idea what is gonna happen.
Ya the new mission president comes in July! Presidente Zuñiga! Hahaha Elder Fuentes actually knows him, he is from Neuquen, Argentina. He is the dad of the girlfriend of one of Elder Fuentes's friends or something like that. Elder Fuentes knows his daughter. I wonder if we are going to be able to drink mate?? Every Argentine that ever lived drinks A TON of mate. It is basically a type of herbal tea, but we aren’t allowed to drink it as missionaries.
Love you family!!
