1) If you were transferred, where did you end up? - I am in Jose C Paz 1 in the Sarmiento Zone!!
1a) What is the area is like? – It’s Provincia!! (Country side) No more big buildings or rich people ahahah. The main roads are paved but we walk on dirt roads almost all the time! Our area is huge. The houses are generally really small and a lot of them have been built by the people that live there. There are a ton of stray random dogs everywhere haha. The people are generally humble and nice. A lot more trees and a lot less people!! If you are out in the morning and during the siesta there is hardly anyone out haha its like a ghost town. But during the afternoon and night there are a pretty good amount of people out and about!
2) What is your companion like? - My comp is Elder Albrechtsen. He has been in the mission for a year now and is from Los Angeles. My first gringo companion!!
3) What are your living conditions like compared to your other 2 areas - the pension (apartment) is big, it is basically like a small house, and we live with the elders who are opening JCP3! (we are both in the same ward, jcp2 is a different ward) They are elder Vickery and elder Wallace. They are studs, I love them. Elder Wallace is training elder Vickery who just left the ccm! So there is the topic of the Spanish... We really are trying to speak all Spanish unless we need to explain something to elder Vickery. It’s hard sometimes though because elder Vickery wants to speak a lot of English. Thus far, between me and Elder A, we have only spoken in Spanish so that’s good. But it is honestly super fun living with 4. We don’t have air conditioning hahaha. And it is super hot, but hey, it’s ok. Thus far it has basically been the exact same weather here that we have at home just flipped seasons.
4) What is the ward like? - the ward thus far has been awesome! I already love the members here. They are super ready to always do missionary work and it is sweet, but there are A TON of less actives here.
5) Are you still being fed lunches by members? - yes
6)What is the transportation like?- we use the collectivos (busses) a lot because our area is huge, but yes we still walk a lot
7) Do you still have a bidet? Yes, but it sucks so we are buying paper.
That is so awesome about Isaac and Noah!!! Holy smokes that is insane. Five different languages in the family. That is sweet that Ricks got his Eagle!!!!
It rained like all day Friday so it was all super muddy, it was super fun for the first 3 hours but after that I was doing my best to avoid the super muddy spots. The area is sweet, ill try to send some pics next week. Thank you for all your prayers, I love you so much mom. Thank you for everything.
But seriously mom, thank you for all you do for me and all your prayers. I love you so much.
Have a great week family!
